Blue and White Twin Dragons Brush Pot

This blue-and-white porcelain brush pot would have been right at home in a Qing-dynasty scholar’s studio. Brushed with a rich cobalt blue glaze, the pot is painted with a traditional design of serpentine dragons soaring towards a flaming pearl, an emblem of the sun, of the moon, of balance, and of power.
