This sculptural bronze object is a charming example of 19th-century metalwork. The bronze figure is formed as a Buddhist wrathful deity, wearing flaming robes and a fearsome expression. The deity holds up two small rings, possibly used as a buckle to secure one's robes or sash. We've elevated the petite figure on a custom steel mount for display as a storied found object.
