Blue and White Floral Fish Bowl on Stand

This elegant porcelain fishbowl is a lovely example of classic blue-and-white underglaze ceramics. The fishbowl is decorated with an all-over pattern of scrolled vines and flowers, framed by ruyi-form floral medallions at the lip and a band of oblong lappets at the base. The basin is elevated by a sculptural wooden pedestal base, stained to a dark chocolate-brown color. We love using a bowl of this scale as an indoor fish pond or planter.
