This woven summer daybed dates to the mid-19th century and features a beautiful cypress frame with round corner legs and simple, straight stretchers. The daybed has tightly-woven top surface for added comfort, hand-woven of thin reeds in a basic twill pattern. Known as "ta," this style of low-lying daybed was used throughout the courtyard home as a portable surface for reclining, playing games, and gathering for food and drink.

Minor replacements to legs to address wear.
