This rustic wooden container dates to the early 20th century and was once used to store dry goods or household items in a provincial home in Yunnan province. Hollowed from a single fir tree trunk, the wide container has an organic, asymmetrical form, a raw edge and a smooth exterior textured by blade marks and irregular wear. Soft to the touch with an antique patina, the primitive vessel brings fantastic texture to modern interiors as a planter, basket or decorative accent.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
