Beautifully glazed with dark, cobalt-blue color, this footed porcelain bowl is a beautiful example of Japanese blue-and-white porcelain. The bowl has a near-round form, shaped with slightly lobed sides that flare outwards at the rim. The interior is patterned with dark blue florals and dense linework around a serene sansui landscape painting. Playful scrollwork and delicate lotus blossoms wind around the exterior, contrasted by a crisp, white field.
