English Leather Top Partners Desk

With fine materials and imposing scale, this grand mahogany desk is the ideal centerpiece to a book-lined study or executive's office. The expansive desk dates to the late 19th century and exemplifies a style of office furniture found throughout the Regency and Victorian periods.

Known as a partners desk, the elegant writing table is intended to be shared by two people, with ample leg space and accessible storage on both sides. The desk has a three-piece design, with a large top surface raised upon two reversible pedestal bases, each with a file organizer on one side and three drawers on the other. The top features three shallow drawers on either side and is inset with tooled black leather finely worked with a border of stamped botanical motifs.

Decorated only by beaded edging and molded trims, the statement-making desk puts the natural beauty of the mahogany veneer on full display, now wonderfully aged with a smooth, antique patina.

Pedestal bases are set on casters. Minor losses to mahogany veneer.
