This limestone table was hand-carved nearly 400 years ago by artisans in the early Qing dynasty. Over the centuries, the stone has developed an enchanting character, beautifully worn and oxidized with time. Stone furniture such as this came into its own in China during the Ming dynasty and was considered a crucial architectural element of a Chinese garden. With curved legs and a broad surface, this stone table is a magical - yet practical - addition to the garden.
