This pair of display stands dates to the early 20th century and would have been used as pedestals for floral arrangements or burning incense. The square stands are crafted of northern elm (yumu) with mortise-and-tenon joinery and feature shallow drawers and a lower shelf. A warm red-brown finish darkens the exterior, gently worn from a century of use.

One stand has a split to the top surface and a slightly warped leg due to age.

Drawer Interior: 9.5"W x 9"D x 2.75"H
Top of Shelf to Floor: 14.5"H

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
