A luminous blue-green glaze sheets, pools, and drips down the tapered sides of these elegant stoneware jars, lingering on every imperfection. The glassy glaze exhibits a rich range of colors and crazed during firing for a beautiful crackled finish. Dated to the late 19th century, the jars were once used to store grain and other dry goods in a Qing-dynasty kitchen. Today, we love the pair as planters in the home or garden, perfect for a young sapling or a display of lush greenery.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
