Skilled in traditional joinery techniques, our craftspeople have fashioned a simple provincial bench that brings forth the expressive grain and raw texture of the vintage elmwood timber. Embracing the notion of “wabi-sabi,” the bench charms with its irregular surface, mottled color, and fascinating array of knots, splits, and nail holes that hint at the wood’s earlier use.
