With an expansive round table top and sinuous curved legs, this late 19th-century tea table was likely designed with Western tastes in mind. The round table was crafted in Zhejiang province of huali (rosewood) and jumu (southern elmwood), two Chinese hardwoods sought after for their unusual grain patterns. Minimally decorated, the exquisite table draws its beauty from fine materials and effortless design.

Table top rests on removable base.
