A small Chinese chatelaine tool set strung with a petite white brass tools, including a spoon, a scraper and a pair of tweezers. The small tools hang from short chains linked to a silver Chinese coin originally minted from 1890-1908. Suspended from one's clothing at the shoulder, back, or waist, a tool set such as this was used for a variety of daily tasks, such as personal grooming, taking snuff, or cleaning opium accessories.
