Created in the style of Mongolian storage coffers, this late 19th-century herdsman's chest has a minimalist design and plenty of rustic appeal. Originally configured to open from the top, this chest was modified with front-facing doors by our carpenters skilled in traditional joinery. The four doors open to a continuous interior fitted with a single shelf. Ideal as a sideboard or credenza, the square corner cabinet is minimally decorated with a simple carved apron and an unfinished exterior, textured by wear and patina.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
