Crafted by a contemporary Tibetan artisan, this singing bowl was traditionally used for meditation. It is hand-formed from eight mixed metals including copper, tin, iron, lead, zinc, gold, silver and mercury. The eight metal alloy together produces a deep, rich sound when a wooden stick circulates around the rim of the bowl. Buddhist monks incorporate this sound into healing meditation practices. We enjoy using it in a simple and modern way for fruit, nuts or sweets.

“Over the years, I’ve incorporated many pieces from PAGODA RED into my designs. Not only can they balance new furnishings (and often new construction) by feeling more established, but the pieces emanate a sense of rich history, often leaving you wondering where they were in a previous life. These beautiful pieces carefully hand-selected by the team at PAGODA RED, coupled with their unbelievable customer service, make them a must-have for any home.”
