This early 20th century mirror is crafted of hand-carved pine and once hung on the wall of a Qing-dynasty home, perhaps in a lady’s sleeping quarters. Subtle notches pattern the frame's finely beaded edges and brass hardware adorns the top, formed in the shape of a lingzhi fungus of immortality. The mirror's narrow design makes it ideal for filling a small, empty niche in the home. A fresh mirror replaces the lost original.
