Dated to the early 20th century, this porcelain plate is an unusual example of famille rose enamelware, decorated with painterly pink and blue orchid blossoms. The surrounding light green ground is textured by etched scrollwork. The underside is loosely brushed with swaying grasses in iron red underglaze.
