A dark glaze coats the body of this squat kitchen vessel, pooling at the sharp angle drawn by its high shoulders. The petite early 20th-century dish was once used for storing food in a Qing-dynasty kitchen, as evidenced by its interior glaze. Dotted with imperfections, the lustrous dark glaze gives this pantry jar a glassy appearance, contrasted by the unfinished base and lip. We love this petite vessel as a tabletop planter for a succulent or a single orchid.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
