This petite silver spoon is actually an opium scraper, used to remove spent ash and debris from a pipe or pipe bowl. The elegant scraper is shaped as a crane, a symbol of longevity, and is etched with feathered plumage and stamped with a mark indicating a sterling grade silver or higher.
