Hand-carved from a single block of limestone, this early 20th century stone vessel was originally used as a mortar to grind rice and other raw materials. The large mortar has minimalist appeal, its simple form showcasing the natural color and texture of dense limestone. Used as a stone sink or a planter for lush greenery, the mortar's rustic form and weathered surface adds fantastic texture to any space.

Mortar has been drilled with a drainage hole.
