Dated to the early 20th century, this fantastic tabletop display stand is crafted from the cross-section of a camphor tree trunk. Shaped by the elements, the wood has eroded with time to create a highly textured surface of peaks and valleys along the growth rings. Like a scholar's rock, the small pedestal most likely lived in an artist's studio to inspire creativity with its spontaneous, wild beauty. Finished with a flat top, this spiky display stand is an amazing way to elevate a small sculpture or porcelain vase.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
