Originally used for pickling foods, this early 20th century ceramic jar is coated inside and out with a rich dark brown glaze. A subtle ridged texture patterning the jar's high shoulders manipulate the glaze to pool irregularly across the surface. Speckled with imperfections and color variations, this glazed pot exemplifies the timeless appeal of handcrafted pottery.
