Created by an artisan in Shanghai, this beautiful statement necklace is strung with turquoise beads and dotted with silver Tibetan charms. The central pendant is a silver-lined Qing-dynasty coin minted under the reign of the Tongzhi emperor (AD 1861-1875). Used in Imperial China since 4th century BC, this form of coin is today considered a good luck charm and a powerful symbol of prosperity.
