This round limestone basin was hand-carved over 200 years ago in China's Shandong province. Originally used as a water trough on a Qing-dynasty farm, the basin has three handles intended for hitching animals. In China, rock as an element is classified as "yang" because it is strong, hard, durable, and "male." It is an element that would be well balanced by delicate flowers and lush greenery. With its textured surface and asymmetrical form, this beautifully aged stone basin is the perfect eye-catching garden planter.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
