This low-profile rustic table was originally used in a provincial, Qing-dynasty home as a versatile surface for cooking, dining or drinking. Made of northern Chinese elmwood (yumu), the table has a plank-top surface and straight splayed legs connected by simple stretchers. A sign of its age and use, a rich patina cloaks the table's surface adding fantastic texture and character to the piece. Simple yet beautiful, Ming dynasty-inspired Chinese furniture holds a refined aesthetic making this a great minimalist option for a center table or even a bench.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
