Sculpted from a single block of stone, this low, rectangular table stand borrows design elements from the traditional waisted kang table. Elevated by four straight legs ending in wide hoof feet, the stand is decorated only by two lines etched into the apron for a beaded effect.

In classic Chinese gardens, stone furniture such as this is treated as an architectural element, anchoring its surroundings with its density and permanence. Perhaps once used to serve tea atop a kang or to seat a lantern in a garden or courtyard, this small stone table is a great way to add hard texture to a space, indoors and out.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
