This elegant side table dates to the late 19th century and would have been used for serving tea, burning incense, or displaying flowers and sculpture. Constructed with mortise-and-tenon joinery, the square-corner table features a floating panel top, straight legs, and a single shelf for additional storage. The legs are trimmed by a beaded edge and the top is framed by fretwork aprons, finely carved with a graceful scrollwork design. A rich brown finish adds lustrous warmth and accentuates the table's refined form.

Table has antique repairs to splits in wood of shelf and one leg.
