This clean-lined side table dates to the 18th century and was likely used as a dressing table in the women's quarters of a Qing-dynasty home. The recessed leg table has a classic design, featuring a floating-panel top, squared legs, double stretchers, and simple curved spandrels. The table is fitted with a single drawer for small items and personal belongings, accented by a flower-shaped brass pull. Minimally decorated, the table instead showcases its elegant joinery and the beauty of northern Chinese elm (yumu).

Additional Dimensions:
Drawer: 13.5"W x 15.5"D x 5.5"H
Table Apron to Floor: 21"H
