Originally used for pickling foods, this early 20th century ceramic jar is coated inside and out with a subdued jade green glaze. The wide-mouth jar has high shoulders and a rounded, oblong form that tapers to the base. Shaped by paddling, the jar has a wonderfully irregular surface, further textured by vertical lines drawn in the outer slip layer. Speckled with imperfections, this tall glazed pot exemplifies the timeless appeal of handcrafted pottery.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
