Originally used for pickling foods, this monumental early 20th-century ceramic vessel is cloaked in a beautiful celadon blue-green glaze. As the turquoise glaze dripped down the rounded sides, lingering on each imperfection, a range of undertones was revealed, from rich purples to shimmering golds. Simply shaped, the large jar exemplifies the timeless appeal of handcrafted pottery and is a wonderful option as a planter or centerpiece vessel.
