Zhenzhu Meditation Stone

This sculptural Zhenzhu stone, also known as a pearl stone, was sourced from the Zhejiang province of China. Polishing the surface, artisans enhanced the stone's natural form to draw forth the shape of a mountain range. Unusual stones have been appreciated by Chinese painters, poets and calligraphers for thousands of years as references to the natural world and inspiration for their creative work.
