This lidded ceramic vessel dates to the early 20th century and was once used to store or serve foods in the kitchen of a Qing-dynasty home, as evidenced by the interior glaze. The jar is finished in a light celadon green glaze that drips across the exterior, streaking with subtle color variations and pooling in the shallow ridges that pattern the sides. Today, we love this rustic kitchen vessel as a decorative box or tabletop planter.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
