A luminous blue-green glaze sheets, pools and drips down the surface of this early 20th century kitchen jar. The pear-shaped jar has a tapered body and a wide flared mouth framed by simple strap handles. The monochrome jade green glaze exhibits a rich range of colors and pitted wear that gives the jug fantastic character. Used for general storage in a Qing-dynasty kitchen, the jar is wonderful today as a decorative vase for lush greenery and floral arrangements.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
