This lovely ceramic planter dates to the early 20th century and features low relief decoration and an irregular, blue-green drip glaze. The basin has a footed base, a flat lip, and rounded sides patterned with bands of simple floral motifs and lobed medallions filled with flowers and offering fruits. The beautifully imperfect glazed exterior boasts a rich range of cool earth tones and lends the jar fantastic texture. Drilled on one side for drainage, the planter can be filled with lush greenery or striking floral arrangements, a wonderful addition to any garden.

From the collection of Frances and Gary Comer.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
