This round stone disc originated as an early 20th-century threshing wheel. Secured to a wooden axel that ran through the center, the stone was rolled across stalks of wheat to separate the grain, pulled either by man or by ox. Set on a custom steel mount, the limestone disc becomes a minimalist sculpture, appreciated for its simple form and organic texture.
