In an exclusive collaboration with PAGODA RED, each hand-studded piece by artist the bms. was transformed from a provincial 19th-century artifact into a one-of-a-kind work of art. Embellishing with silver and gold tacks, the bms. adds a contemporary twist to our storied objects, animating each surface with bold and provocative designs.

This ombre riser was originally a Qing-dynasty low stool, used by a shoemaker while he assembled pairs of shoes. Encrusted with metal studs in a gradient from silver to gold, the stool has been re-imagined as a tabletop pedestal, perfect for elevating a vase or a work of sculpture.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
