With clean lines and a darkly lacquered finish, this square corner cabinet celebrates the restraint of classic Chinese furniture forms. Dated to the mid-19th century, the tall cabinet is crafted of elmwood with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and provides ample storage options, crafted with three interior shelves and two drawers. The cabinet is minimally decorated save for subtle carved accents and its glossy black lacquer finish, now richly textured from years of use. The expansive lacquered front is finished with the soft glimmer of its brass dagger-post lock plate and round hinges.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
